Please let me know if this works for anyone else. Keep in mind, I don't know what mods you have installed or whatever, so if you have problems launching and have mods, then its best you try this without them enabled. It can sometimes be fixed by just clicking Connect a few times. I'm not sure, but we may just have to make due until things get fixed. It may be due to how Steam was closed entirely prior to launching. Unfortunately, at least for me, the game will launch and sometimes be stuck in offline mode most times (or it could just be EA's servers), so you won't be able to play online. If this seems like an overall fix and you did everything right, the game should launch. Just wait and don't touch or do anything. EA Launcher should open for a second and Steam should close entirely on its own and then start booting itself back up (assuming you have Remember My Password enabled). ![]() Select the game, then select platform GlobalĪnd then launch the game THROUGH FROSTY MOD MANAGER. Open it and, if necessary, add the game's exe by clicking on the cog at the top right, go to Settings, and then find "starwarsbattlefrontii.exe" through Custom Game select. Considering it should basically be the same thing, it should work fine with all this still. If it doesn't find the game correctly still for you, don't worry about it. It should work okay upon opening it again. FrosTxt merges localization files from different mods into one file that can be applied by Frosty Mod Manager. It should find the game correctly but give you an error upon selecting that there's already a duplicate. Previously, it was only possible to play Battlefront 2 with the UI text-edits of one mod because Frosty Mod Manager can only apply one edited localization file. Restart Frosty Mod Manager and click Scan Games again. SKIP THIS STEP IF YOU SUCCESSFULLY SCANNED THE GAME LOCATION: Go to Launch Options and then enable Platform Launching. Then go up to the Tools bar at the top, and then Options. Scan the game location of Battlefront II and select it. NOTE: I purchased the game on Steam, so I can't promise as well if it'll work for those who purchased it elsewhere, but let me know if it does.Äownload Frosty Mod Manager (latest version, NOT ALPHA) Some things may be unknowingly unnecessary, but better safe than sorry. ![]() I cannot promise that this will work for everyone, but I'm going to share what I've discovered works for me, and what I'm using and did to do it.
